PTCL, DUHS Enter Strategic Partnership

PTCL will provide optical fibre connectivity to Dow Medical College (DMC), Sindh Medical College (SMC) and OJHA Institute of Chest Diseases (OICD) for integrating the academic and research processes.

PTCL further aspires to equip DUHS with its state of the art data centre services, video conference and
wireless broadband services. Recently, PTCL and DUHS signed an agreement for the provisioning of wireless broadband (EVO) to facilitate DUHS faculty members, employees and enthusiastic students in their communication and connectivity needs.

DUHS is the oldest medical college in Sindh and the second oldest in the country. It serves as an umbrella for Dow Medial College (DMC), Sindh Medical College (SMC), Dr. Ishrat ul Ebad Khan Institute of Oral Sciences (DIKIOHS), OJHA Institute of Chest Diseases and many others. It has introduced teaching and learning methodology which facilitates students to become skilled lifelong learners.
