He was on a one day visit to Pakistan which ended today. Before leaving the Mobilink Head Office in Islamabad he addressed Mobilink team and talked about present and future of Mobilink.
To a question from one of the Mobilink’s officials present in the meeting, he replied, “Mobilink is going to stay in Pakistan and it will certainly get the 3G license whenever the bidding process starts. Mobilink will maintain the leadership status in the future as well”.
After the 100 million subscriber mark the urge of 3G license is being felt strongly in Pakistan. The ball is now in government’s court who has to play a decisive role in order to attract more foreign investment in shape of 3G licenses.
